When will you be open again? Our early season berries are just about done. Being outside in the heat and humidity is brutal. But we have a plan. No camp carpool on the 4th so we can be open for u-pick early in the day before the temperature works up into the 90s.
OPEN 7/4 FROM 8AM TO 11AM
Come by and pick a few berries to take along to that picnic later in the day or to munch on while you enjoy the fireworks. All the usual information in the next paragraph. Remember come out early and beat the heat. Wednesday 7/4 from 8am to 11am.
We have containers but you are welcome to bring your own. We sell by the pint and quart (not weight). The prices are the same as last year and for the many years before that. You pick and then pay the farmer $4.00 a pint and $8.00 a quart. The containers are full when the berries are level with the top of the container. Overfilled containers cost more. Things to keep in mind. No toilets (so plan ahead). Some people find sunscreen stress reducing. Bring a water bottle, picking can be thirsty work. We don’t take credit cards. Cash or a check payable to Blueberry Gardens will do the trick. No smoking anywhere on the farm.
