6-22-2026 That Late Spring Frost Was More Damaging Than We Realized = No Berries
Having just walked the patch this morning we have to report that we no longer have enough fruit to make a trip to the farm worthwhile. If you read our earlier posts and visited the farm thank you for picking. As always your farmers share your disappointment that we have had reduced yields. In the past we might have said “perhaps the mid or later season berries will surprise us” but we expect it is time to start looking forward to next year. Enjoy the warm summer days ahead.
We do have some good news to share. The hoop house is filling with ripe tomatoes. Sign up for our weekly veggie news and you can order online for Wednesday pick up along with other locally grown organic produce. Thankfully the birds (who seem to believe we raise blueberries for them) don’t seem to be interested in most everything else we grow.
