Sometimes being closed for a few days does the trick. We have our nets up over most of the mid season plants and that has given the berries a chance to ripen without being harvested by our feathered friends. So plan on coming out on Wednesday 7/23 between 8am and noon. The weather forecast is for temperatures to rise as the day goes on so come out early and beat the heat. Morning picking only and then we expect to be closed again for a few days while more berries ripen. We will also have honey from our hives for sale and we expect some pints and quarts of tomatoes to make an appearance from the hoop house. All organic, pesticide and herbicide free.
